Peel the potatoes and grate them into a bowl.

Heat up your pan, add butter with a splash of olive oil. Add chopped onion, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic.

Add your grated potatoes and mix with seasoned onions.

Fry for some minutes and add grated cheese and stir until it's well mixed

Flatten the mixture and leave it to fry until it's golden brown at the bottom and flip it.

When frico is golden brown on both sides - plate it up. Can be served with nice zucchini noodles and tomato salsa tartar. Or other foods at choice like meatballs in tomato sauce. You can enjoy it as a snack as well. bon appetito!
